RE: Glad no one got hurt

Spepi - If you were a reporter, you missed the "scoop" - big time, LOL!
1. Has anybody keeping track of how many times this has been posted
as a new thread - with various topics - for the past WEEK?
(I'll guess at least twenty)
#2. Has anybody kept track of how long they last before Frank
(AKA - Fastest Mod in the West) shoots 'em down? (LOL!)
Hint - they have lasted longer on the "General RVing Issues" forum.
One poster there has a list of all the previous threads (and links to 'em),
complete with a Q and A of everything about the incident.
Frank - like my "opener" if you delete the thread (rather than closing 'em) - "somebody" figures "nobody" has seen it yet!
And everybody gets to do it all again!
JC
Guess my Press pass will be taken away...and your right..if its deleted, no one will know its been posted now 21 times LOL

RE: rv screen door

I just did mine...little plastic rivets, you can pull these with needle nose pliers, bend out the old one, but vertical bar back in, put rivets back in, then instal slide...very easy to do

RE: Scissor Jacks -- Install Mid Rig

I installed these in front of my tires...what a difference...still get some bounce, but nothing like before...I used self tapping screws, and installed them with my 18volt DeWalt in about 10 minutes...didnt have to pre drill any holes. I have an I frame on my TT

RE: Anyone pulling TT with Chevy Trailblazer?

I used to tow a 32' Rockwood 2701SS with the Reese Dual Cam, and it was not fun...of course my TT was too long to begin with, but I had no choice. I used to tow a Rockwood 23RS prior to that and it did great...

RE: Scissor Jacks

I did for the first time this weekend. I used my 18v Dewalt and it worked like a charm...brough them down snug, and did a half turn by hand....easy down, and easy up....try greasing the spindles with some heavy grease, and run them up and down by hand a few times, then try the drill again

RE: Severe sway with '08 4Runner

I used to tow a 32' Rockwood with my 05 Chevy Trailblazer. The truck handled the tow, but the wheelbase was just too short....113" I think...just shy of a Tahoe. I have the dual cam reese, with 800lb bars, and the ride was scary...especially coming up 95 through Providence....so 50mph was my max speed...anywhere I went. I upgrade my TV in February to a 06 Suburban, and trhis weekend, we went to CT. What a ride....comfortable, minor sway with the high winds we had on Monday....and it looked porportioned to the size of the TT. I hope you find something, because I know when I had my small TV....I dreaed pulling the TT out of the driveway...now I cant wait. It makes a difference on your travel experience....good luck, and Hi Neighbor....im in the next town over...

RE: Suggestions...

I used to have the 23RS, and I towed it with an XTerra...and it was horrible. I know it didnt have the 6000lb cap, but 55 at best, and I would suggest a larger TV. I tow a 32' Rockwood 2701ss with my Suburban, and its the way to go. You wont regret it

RE: "Grey water adaptor/adapter"?

Im going there this weekend, and the adapter they are talking about is this one.
http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r207/spepi/sewer.jpg
They probably sell it in thier store or you can pick one up at Wally world.
Have fun. Oh...and you may want to get an old hose to use. Grey water can get gross....so you dont want to use a good one.
